Hi Fleur, l too suffer from PTSD & l have Autism as well & l found the whole environment of hospital & rehab overwhelming! l actually wrote to you last year to tell you just how much your books have been meant to me & you wrote back! awesome! l told all the nurses etc about it & the carers here at this group home for people with disabilities who need 24/7 carers available 'NDIS & Rehab Team etc. decided that since l can't really look after myself anymore! that l couldn't live by myself anymore' so l was told that l needed to move into a group home with 24/7 support, including a staff sleepover! I'm so luckly l discovered your books just before ending up in the hospital & rehab for a year! 27-11-24 to 20-11-2025 during that year l read all your books up to prospect, then when l saw you could pre-ordered Witness early November l couldn't buy it quick enough! Your books were the only thing that 'truely helped me escape for long periods of time from the constant pain & the bloody overwhelming environment that hospitals are' which kept me going when all l wanted to do is 🤬 give up! Your books are written so well that it's easy for me to totally transport myself to the region in Australia (which is great l like that I'm supporting an Aussie) the book is set in & l get so absorbed that many hours go by without me noticing! but when l realise what time it is 'l still don't want to put down the book' to even go to the bathroom man they're so awesome! my copy of Witness finally arrived & I'm totally looking forward to start reading it tonight after lights out at 10pm when it goes nice & quiet then I'll be nice & cozy under my new Oodie sherpa blanket & it's so worth the money! it's keeping me so warm at night man l totally recommend them! Anyway back to my main point here! Your books were the only thing that really helped me get through being in hospital & rehab for a year when l needed escape for respite! So Fleur please don't ever stop writing books PLEASE 🥰🥰🥰🥰
